ASCA is excited to introduce you to its 1in4 campaign. This campaign has a profound message, but is delivered in a simple accessible format. It was produced with the generosity of Matterhorn, a creative agency and a number of their partner organisations. asks people to log onto Facebook, or if they’re not on facebook to proceed with the experience regardless. It then takes people on a journey introducing them to a statistic of which everyone should be aware, using the person’s Facebook friend list. The campaign also includes an online film and TV spot with print and social media adding further support. It not only drives awareness but also seeks donations which will be used provide workshops to help adult survivors of childhood trauma and abuse or their family, friends, partners and loved ones find their path to recovery.

Dr. Cathy Kezelman, President of ASCA talked about Matterhorn and the role of Garry Horner and Matt Kemsley, from the agency.
“Garry, Matt and I have known each other for a number of years, when they presented us with the new campaign I was impressed by the power, poignancy and simplicity of the message. And the ingenuity of the delivery. We couldn’t be more excited with the end result. They share our passion for the needs of adult survivors of childhood abuse and trauma and this campaign will undoubtedly change lives and that’s no mean feat.”

Without giving too much away please log in for your experience at and please share it with your friends to spread the word.

In a typically survivor, non trusting manner, I was reluctant to share with FB friends so continued without it on round one checking out this campaign. Second attempt, I thought I'd give the FB option a run through only 'unclicked' the friends list. There appears to be no way to change that now? Please advise.

Hi Kim, I have just spoken with our tech guys and they have suggested that sometimes a user may need to 'clear their cache' as their computer may be defaulting to the original setting that you have selected. Depending on your computer and its operating system this will vary although there are instructions on how to do this here:
