Support with redress applications

The National Redress Scheme commenced its operations on 1st of July 2018. It will run for 10 years.

The Blue Knot Helpline team supports survivors of institutional child sexual abuse who are looking for support with their application to the National Redress Scheme.

There are a number of services throughout Australia which can provide survivors of institutional child sexual abuse with face-to-face support during the application process. Blue Knot can help you link with those services by providing you with a linking-up warm referral service. We will do the leg work for you, to find the right provider and then link you with them.

Alternatively, if there are no face-to-face supports services in your area, we can provide you with some support over the telephone during the application process.
